The individual is at the center of our daily activities – we are here for the resident. Our care focuses on his or her unique needs and specialized concerns. We use an inter-disciplinary approach, working closely with the individual, the family and health care providers to create the best care possible for each resident.

Independence
Our mission is to allow the continued development of residents toward autonomy and self-reliance within the home environment, allowing them to continue living independent and productive lives.

While some of us begin to lose our physical independence as we age, we encourage our residents to strive for autonomy and independence of spirit and mind.

Community
We keep residents active and “in community” with their families, their friends, and the Ojai Valley at large. Our unique “Communication Station” creates personalized stationary for each resident, and allows for eMail, live chat and even live videoconferencing with friends and family anywhere in the world.

Care
When we named our home At Home in Ojai, we did so purposely – because when you are At Home, we care for you as we would anyone in our home. When you are At Home, we are your extended family.
