Community
When we talk about "community", it includes our home, the the local Ojai community, as well as the extended community of family and friends of all of our residents.

We make sure that we recognize and honor special days for all of our residents, and we regularly offer opportunities for residents to gather and bond at both fun events and quiet times around the house.

We're involved in local activities, such as gardening, visiting with local schoolchildren and support of our local non-profit group that supports local elders -- Help of Ojai.

We also keep residents active and “in community” with their families, their friends, and the Ojai Valley at large. Our unique “Communication Station” creates personalized stationary for each resident, and allows for eMail, live chat and even live videoconferencing with friends and family anywhere in the world.

With active involvement in local churches, schools and other community organizations, all residents live in an atmosphere that recognizes, honors and supports their ongoing role as a vlaued member of their community.
